Le pigeon aux petits pois

''Le pigeon aux petit pois'' (''The Pigeon with Green Peas'') is a 1911 painting by Pablo Picasso. It was one of five paintings stolen from the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris on 20 May 2010, which together are worth about €100 million ($123 million).
The thief and his sponsor were found the following year, and the latter has declared that he was seized by panic after a police raid and a phone call by the police, and put the painting in a rubbish container. However the police doubt that assertion.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title='Art Heist of the Century' in Paris - Pilfered Paintings: Five Famous Art Heists Through History - TIME.com )
